Under this policy, the Tsukuba Plant has introduced power generation systems and air-conditioning heat source equipment as part of its efforts to reduce CO₂ emissions.2. Overview of Large-Scale Solar Power Generation System At the Tsukuba Plant, a large-scale solar power generation system with a capacity of 1,800 kW was introduced under an on-site PPA*1 model and has been in full operation since April 1, 2026.
