Fully Automated
Ink Mix Station

The only fully automated sheetfed offset ink mixing station in Bulgaria, capable of reproducing any color from the complete Pantone Matching System with guaranteed batch-to-batch repeatability.

Precision Color Matching for Sheetfed Offset

Print Solutions Ltd operates the only fully automated ink mixing station of its kind in Bulgaria, located at our warehouse and office in Ruse. The system is built around the principle of monopigment base ink technology — a method in which each base ink contains a single, chemically pure pigment.

By combining these pure monopigment bases in precisely calculated proportions, the system can achieve virtually any color in the Pantone Matching System (PMS). Unlike traditional multi-pigment mixing bases, monopigment technology delivers a wider color gamut, more predictable mixing behavior, and improved batch-to-batch consistency.

The automated dispensing unit measures each component to within ±0.1g, eliminating human error and ensuring that every batch — whether it is the first order or the hundredth reorder — is spectrally identical.

What Our Mix Station Offers

Full Pantone Color Chart Coverage

Our station can reproduce any color from the complete Pantone Matching System (PMS) — from Pantone 100 C to Pantone 10000 C and beyond. This includes all coated, uncoated, and metallic Pantone references.

Monopigment Base Ink Technology

We use monopigment base sheetfed offset inks — meaning each base contains only a single, pure pigment. This ensures the highest possible color gamut, maximum color accuracy, and predictable mixing behavior when blending to achieve target colors.

Guaranteed Color Repeatability

Every mix is digitally recorded with precise formulation data. When you reorder, the same formula is reproduced with spectrophotometric accuracy — ensuring consistent batch-to-batch results across months or years.

Automated Dispensing System

The fully automated dispensing unit weighs each base component to within ±0.1g accuracy. Human error is eliminated from the mixing process, and every batch is traceable with a full production record.

Fast Turnaround

Standard orders are processed and dispatched within 24–48 hours from our Ruse warehouse. Urgent orders can often be fulfilled same-day for customers in the Ruse region.

Epple Druckfarben Base Inks

Our mixing station uses Epple Druckfarben AG monopigment base inks, a well-established choice in European sheetfed offset ink formulation. Epple's bases are optimized for printability, fast setting, and gloss.

The Mixing Process

01

Color Specification

Provide your Pantone reference number, or send us a printed sample for spectrophotometric matching.

02

Formula Calculation

Our mixing software calculates the precise formula from our monopigment base ink library, optimized for your substrate and press conditions.

03

Automated Mixing

The automated dispensing system measures and combines each base ink component with ±0.1g precision.

04

Quality Verification

Each batch is proofed and verified against the target Pantone reference using a calibrated spectrophotometer.

05

Packaging & Dispatch

The mixed ink is packaged in standard 1kg, 2.5kg, or 5kg containers with full labeling and formula documentation.

06

Formula Storage

Your formula is permanently stored in our system, ensuring identical color reproduction for every future reorder.
